    Q) x3100 的市场定位及目标应用是怎样的？
    A) IBM System x3100是一款高性价比的单路入门级服务器，可以为小型和不断成长的的企业提供所需的性能、可靠性和管理能力。作为各企业购买首台服务器的最佳选择.
    IBM System x3100可用于电子邮件、协同管理、文件/打印，防火墙等企业应用。

    Q) x3100 能做RAID 吗？
    A）x3100没有集成的Raid控制器，不能做Raid。可以通过添加选件SAS HBA卡实现Raid0/1

    Q) x3100能插几块硬盘？最多支持多大硬盘容量？
    A)x3100提供了2个3.5寸易插拔SATA硬盘的插槽，最大支持1.5TB的硬盘容量（2块750GB）。

    Q) x3100 有多少个内存插槽？扩展内存有什么要求？
    A) x3100 共有4个内存插槽。扩展内存要求成对添加。

    Q) x3100 有ps/2的键盘鼠标接口吗？有串口和并口吗？
    A) x3100 没有PS/2的键盘鼠标接口。有1个串口、1个并口。

    Q) x3100 是否支持内置安装磁带机？
    A) 支持。X3100还有一个空闲的半高托架，可以安装兼容的半高磁带机、光驱。可选磁带机为half-high (5.25-inch or 3.5-inch) DDS-6 tape drive（这个还要再落实一下）; 或者1 GoVault EZ (SATA)

    Q) x3100 的光驱是什么接口？主板有IDE接口吗？可以安装IDE的软驱吗？
    A) x3100使用的是SATA的3.5寸半高的DVD-ROM 16X/48X6。主板没有IDE接口。如果需要软驱，可以用外接软驱，IBM USB Portable Diskette Drive P/N 40K1692。
     
    Q) x3100 有PCI-X的扩展槽吗？有PCI的扩展槽吗？
    A) X3100没有PCI-X的扩展槽。但是有PCI的扩展槽。x3100 有2个PCI-Express x8扩展槽、2个fullsize 32-bit 33MHz, PCI 2.2 (5v)插槽。

    Q) x3100电源是冗余的吗？
    A) x3100 配置1个310W电源，不可冗余。
